This area is dedicated to the most loyal of Husky fans, the UW Tyee.

As a self-sustaining department of the University of Washington, Athletics must rely on the generous contributions from alumni, friends, and advocates of the university who recognize the value of the intercollegiate athletic experience. UW Tyees have long supported the student-athlete experience, which began as a grant-in-aid support group in the 1940's and evolved into its current structure of seat-related giving, annual scholarship support, team enhancement, capital projects, and endowments.

The continued support and growth of the Tyee Program is vital to the current and future success of UW student-athletes. Providing meaningful scholarship support and first class facilities to our current and prospective student-athletes are critical to remain competitive on a national level. This year, the Athletic department presented nearly $8 million in scholarship awards to deserving student-athletes, which represents 15% of our annual budget.

We know that you have many choices when deciding where to direct your philanthropy, and hope that you'll remember everything that the Huskies mean to you, your family and the community.
