SEATTLE -- The University of Washington Athletics Department announced a new partnership with The Electric Boat Company for game day shuttle service to Husky fans attending home football games by boat. The Electric Boat Company will serve as the Official Shuttle Boat provider for the University of Washington and its fans this season.

Each year, Husky fans have the opportunity to arrive to the game by boat, then moor in Lake Washington. The new shuttle boats will transport fans from their boats to the dock in a more comfortable fashion. More shuttles will be running and the boats will be covered and heated. The cost of the service is $5.

"Attending Husky football games via boat has always been a fun and exciting tradition for Husky fans," said associate athletic director Ken Winstead. "It's something that makes Husky football unique. Our partnership with the Electric Boat Company only enhances this tradition and makes it a more comfortable and fun experience. We are very excited about this partnership."
